Monday: We wrote some recipes for the second round of testing with tofu. We went grocery shopping for more ingredients and tested in the afternoon.
Tuesday: We finished up testing recipes for the first taste panel, then wrote intros and formatted them. We proofread all our recipes and finalized style and formatting.
Wednesday: We printed recipes and evaluation forms and made them into packets. We finalized plans for the taste panel and made a plan for prepping on Thursday.
Thursday: We prepared our recipes for Friday as far as we could so there is less prep for Friday.
Friday: We spent the morning preparing recipes and at noon had the taste panel. We had the director of ISU Dining, an ISU Dining Chef, Erica, Jantina, and 2 professors from the FSHN department. It went well. We got a lot of feedback and will adjust our recipes accordingly.
